Day 1: Langley to Campbell River

  • 7:30 am – Coach & Guide arrive at Langley School Board Office
  • 7:45 am – Depart for Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
  • Ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay in Nanaimo
  • Visit Coombs – You might see goats on the roof, so bring your camera!
  • Trail walk around Little Qualicum Falls – Scenic waterfalls and forested gorge
  • Visit Cathedral Grove – See ancient giant cedar trees (*dependent on visitor volume)
  • Arrive in Campbell River and check in to your hotel
  • Group pizza dinner (included)

Day 2: Campbell River

  • 7:30 am – Breakfast at hotel (included)
  • Enjoy a 4-hour whale watching tour – Possible sightings include Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Dolphins, Bears, and Sea Lions
  • Visit the Museum at Campbell River
  • Free time for dinner in town (own expense)

Day 3: Campbell River to Langley

  • 8:00 am – Breakfast at hotel (included)
  • Check out and depart Campbell River
  • Visit Elk Falls Provincial Park – Walk trails and the suspension bridge for scenic views
  • Stop at Qualicum Beach – Free time for lunch and relaxing
  • Depart for Nanaimo after lunch (own expense)
  • 5:55 pm – 7:35 pm: Ferry from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay
  • Return to Langley around 8:45 pm
